Yume by Nyara

A small, sun-soaked home with a triangular pool.

Yume sits on the clifftops above Uluwatu — a small site of three (and counting) standalone villas, each its own door, each its own pool. Cream walls, dark teak, woven thatch ceilings. Built for stays of two — booked one at a time, or taken whole for the kind of small gathering that needs every villa.

Each villa was built slowly. Floors poured in polished concrete. Bathrooms tiled in soft Balinese stone. The kitchens are small but generous — a stove, a long stone counter, a window that opens onto the deck. Most mornings begin with coffee out there. Most evenings end there too.

The site is intentionally small. Three villas, room for a fourth one day. No reception, no lobby, no "resort" — just a slow, considered collection, better for the kind of stay that doesn't need filling.

A walk to the best of the bukit.
